I need opinions on plot resetting quickly! [I DID IT!]

So I've spent five hours already plot resetting Rosie to get her in the perfect spot. I finally just came really close, with her being one spot away from where I want her (she's one square back from the line, but she's on the side line where I wanted). Should I just give up an accept it or keep trying?


Edit: I persisted, and after 8 hours total plot resetting, Rosie is finally in the right spot. I kept saying 'one more try, one more' and finally I got it. She better not ask me to move, ever lol

If it won't bother you, go ahead. If you're gonna end up too bothered by it, keep trying~

It's up to you, really. I'm not that patient so I usually settle for a "good enough" spot. I'm also not too picky about where they go....as long as they don't block a bridge or a ramp or plop down too close to another building they can plop down wherever they please.

If you're patient you might be able to get her in that exact spot, but is it really worth it to you to spend that much time doing so? If yes, then keep on trying.

Oh man, I'm not sure what to do. I mean, I laid out three paths so give her three spots to possibly move and that's where I wanted her to go, in one of those. But she's one square back from the path. I really don't know.

I hate it too but I have a certain way I've imagined this one town and I don't want to just give up on it.

Good luck. I once plot reset for 9 hours to get a villager where I wanted him. I decided that it would never be worth doing that again XD Let us know if it works out!

I got her! FINALLY I got her lined up perfectly in the middle of the three possible spots (I had them set to line up vertically) and I'm so tired but really glad. Only two more villagers to eventually plot reset and that town should be set.

they happened with me for mint, it took me 12 hours to set her.. and she'd get so close but never right where i needed her, until one time i loaded up and she was dead center where i wanted. if you can hang in there, im sure you can get your villager dead center if you stay persistent.

OMG CONGRATS, WAY TO GO!!! Ack, that must feel SO SO GOOD! :> :> :> I just did not have the dedication, so I kind of just let my villagers plot wherever...;_; (which I kind of, sort of regret, but I'm just trying to accept it!)

Thank you! Oddly enough I was motivated to keep trying by watching this youtuber constantly hunting for shiny pokemon and spending hours on it and getting so excited when he finally got them. I was like "You know what? I wanna be this excited about my villager" so I kept doing it. I was watching the videos as I plot rest and it helped.
