i would make a little junkyard. have it on another level with lots of cardboard boxes, brown items (rusty gas station filler, brown horse ride thing) with barbed wire. great thing about a junk yard is that everything belongs.

Maybe some bamboo with an outdoor bath(s)? That's what I did with an empty spot, except you got way more room.

Maybe a little flea market/swap meet area behind the shops. Another possibility could be a star gazing look out spot if you terraform and add an upper layer.
