I totally restarted doing my rooms and I need ideas for my basement.

I previously did a kind of laboratory but I don't like this idea anymore.

I turned my basement into a "camping by starlight" room. It started out as a backyard...under my house lol but slowly shifted to a more camping feel as I moved things around. You can check it out in my mayor's house in my dream address (digits in sig) if you're so inclined :3 I'm really quite proud of it (ฅ́˘ฅ̀)

I made my mayor's a sort of hangout, "mancave" type thing with a TV, game shelf, sofa, and music albums on the wall. It's still a WIP because it's tiny but you can look. My DA is on my profile.

Oh, basement? Well I was kind of making mine into a labo-

Gosh darn it.

To be fair, mine's supposed to be a chamber dedicated to interdimensional travel, but gosh darn it.

I kanda made mine a spaceship theme but i may get rid of it and put in a collection room. I have so many things in my locker i have to display some of them.

I decorated mine with spooky items and gyroids as basements are "supposed to be" creepy ;) will add creepy items when I'll obtain them, but will probably have to move most of my gyroids out to make space for them :(

Maybe try a food cellar? Have some shelves, storage units, a stone/concrete floor and wall, fruit and bamboo baskets, food ingredients, etc. I plan on adding one for one of my houses soon.

Also maybe a Jungle-themed room. Maybe have some mushrooms and bug-themed furniture.

If you want scary for Halloween, maybe have a temple/ruin with something dark and mysterious at the end on a pedestal....LIKE A DOLL AND AN AXE....

At first, I made my basement into a workout room/laundry room. I then changed it because I thought the combo of the two looked odd, so now it's a really fun party room C:

My basement themes:
Mad Scientist/Space
Sloppy Bachelor (includes many washers and dryers as well as exercise equip, not that I use any of it, plus sloppy furniture)
'vampire' lair (basement wall and floor with creepy coffin, very simple and wall scone)
annnd, Box Set, which I may change into an underground cafe using the Gorgeous set. I know, all those points to waste...

The spooky and creepy sets are my favorites, so I made a Halloween basement with my favorite pieces. Before that, I had an indoor garden. I might do that again one day in another house.

How about a bar type area? Thats what I plan on doing with mine anyway, but the gorgeous set is so expensive it hurts ;~;

or a jam room? like where you practice your guitar, drums and what not. trying to do that fr my new mayor.

How about a seasonal room? You could make a Halloween themed room now, then in the winter a Christmas themed room, in spring an Easter themed room, etcetera.
