Trading I need help with Villager Trading

I have a villager that my friend wants in his town, but I don't know how to move her out and into his town. The villager is Puddles, and she was originally in his town, then moved to mine through my campsite, but she doesn't remember him. He wants her back into his town, and I agreed to give her to him, but I don't know how to make her move out of my town and into his.

Can someone explain to me how I would go about this? Thanks!

Well first of all he needs to have had 16 villagers move out after Puddles before he can have her move back.

Once he does that though, you just have to get Puddles into boxes, and have him come to your town and talk to her. She will say she doesn't know where to move to and he will be able to invite her to move to his town if he has space.

Would he still need to cycle since she doesn't remember living in his town? She's technically like a new villager.
