thanks everyone, this is helping a lot. I expected to be swayed more by the votes in the poll but I like people's reasonings a lot better. I'm leaning towards doc right now~!

If you like balance, even if you don't require it, I'd go with a different Uchi.
You have five males. With Mira's depature, you now have four females.
So, another female is of the first order.
Then, as one sees the Villager Personalities in your town, it is noticeable that you have the three other female personalities covered. So, this leads me to thinking you should go with an Uchi.

I know but I would want an uchi bunny and she is the only one. I'm more concerned with having another bunny than having another uchi

Okay but for real, I just like Gaston! I'm partial to cranky types and I think his mustache is really funny and quirky. I think Doc is interesting too, I don't see him very often and he seems kinda cute - but still Gaston is definitely superior
