I miss the bottled messages.

I dunno, this is probably a bit overlooked feature, but I sorta enjoy to see messages on bottles.

Also, I miss the days when balloons give random furnitures.

But I miss random furniture from balloons even more. It is so boring to always get the same thing -- I still shoot them down to work towards my badge but ugh.

The messages in a bottle were kind of neat, but I usually trashed them not long after getting one. Definitely sick of balloon furniture now, I really hope they change it up in AC Wii U.

It seems like they replaced the bottle messages with melody paper, which is nowhere near as fun as bottled messages were. I'm actually surprised they didn't keep this feature because of streetpass! It would've been so cool to get notes from passerby's like that.

Yeah it would have! I didn't even think about the streetpass feature being used with the bottled messages. That would be freaking awesome!

Yup! I miss them too. The messages in the bottle were usually funny. At least to me. And the balloon furniture is ugly.

I had forgotten about the bottled messages! They were so cute and made beach combing really worth it. Also deeply missing the random furniture in the balloons. it would have been more interesting to mix the balloon furniture in with random stuff to make collecting it more of a challenge for those who like it, and keep balloons exciting for those that don't.

EXACTLY. I loved getting balloons in CF - maybe you'd get junk, maybe you'd get "common" furniture you were looking for, or maybe you'd get a mario item. It was really fun the whole time I played. Now I'm like "ugh a balloon I guess I'll go pop it". I'm always happy when the present falls in the river!

I do wish they had included the bottle messages again. And I think it would be cooler if there was a mix of balloon furniture and random furniture, so that balloon furniture would be actually be rare, like only one balloon a day had a piece of balloon furniture.

I miss the bottles! One time I got one of the sweetest messages. It was something like,
"My dearest wife, you will never know how much I appreciate you" and something along those lines and I was like awww :') soo sweet
