I just bought a new DS and another copy of ACNL. I'm going to have a second town that's just for messing around in and getting lots of MEOW Coupons to buy things with! Anyone else have second towns?

I thought it would be fun to have a second town. I had a bit of spare money and thought it could be a fun and new way to play ACNL with a second town set up just for fun and making bells.

Heh. Don't blame you. Couple weeks ago I had spare cash and was at a nearby Shoppers Drug Mart and they had a copy of ACNL Welcome Amiibo for 37.99.. thought about picking it up.

Yeah, unfortunately Canada's prices are much, much higher than the States. And Shoppers Drug Mart is essentially a glorified convenient store/pharmacy.. so prices are marked up extremely high there.

Nintendo Switch games here can be upwards of 95 bucks, depending on which province you live in.

I just kind of work on making character houses and designing them, and also working on the whole look of each town. It’s always fun to do something new with each one. :>

Plus, $1 US is equivalent to $1.31 CAD (as of right now) so that's also something to keep in mind. If you paid $37.99 CAD, that's like $29 US

I have two copies of the game but I've since sold my old main town and given the game to my Mom since she wanted to give it a try, aha. Turns out my old town was worth 27 million bells which I was not even expecting. I've never sold a town before so it was a shock! However, she wanted to keep the catalog so she only got 25 million, pffft.

When Black Friday rolls around I'm hoping GameStop has one of their buy two get one free type sales and I can pick up Ultra Sun & Moon and another copy of Animal Crossing! Even if GameStop doesn't though, it's only 20 dollars, I'll probably just splurge. c:

Holy moly. That’s a lot of towns, haha. Do you have different themes for all of them? Do you try to match a theme with a certain season in the year? I’m so curious. :0
