I don't really care about the exterior (unless I was doing a modern themed town, then I would care).

As for interiors for my villagers, I kinda dislike Gabi's interior.

There is a bunch others I dislike tho, after looking thru this tumblr of interiors, Moe for example. Super cute, weird house.

I don't like Rubys interior at all. I don't understand it. And it's hard for me to keep up with the theme when I send her gifts.

And I adore Gaston but even though I've completely redone his interior with the Ranch set, he's still got moldy-looking, drab walls and floor

Ankha is fab in every way except she's hard to maintain. I SHOULD give her a golden bed, as she has NO BED, but ungh villagers are careless with expensive/rare items...

Marina also won't let go of that bathtub. It's irritating. I gave her a much nicer one and wanted to replace hers with more mermaid furniture, but she won't budge on it.

Rod is also being difficult, I want him to have a weight bench AND a bed, but he just switches the two out repeatedly.

i love fauna but i really hate how normal her house looks. like everyone has a theme for their house but not her house. maybe because her personality is normal. but ive done a pretty good job on designing the outside of her house with some gold roses and bamboo.

I got Freckles through a streetpass and the first time I walked into her house I was sure she had to come from someone like me, who can't ever say no to their villagers so they accumulate a lot of random fish and furniture with no rhyme or reason. Then I looked at her house on a ACNL wiki and discovered that no, this is her original house:



Normally my inability to say no means I end up ruining my villagers homes, but I don't see how I could make Freckles house worse.

Mind you, I'm not sure she qualifies for this thread as while I certainly hate her house, I don't exactly love her.

I like Curlos, Ken, Nibbles, and Frank, but their interiors are just hideous.

Frank's house looks like a gym, which would have been ok if he was still a jock, but they switched him to the cranky personality for NL. It's just ugly and I don't think it suits a cranky at all.

Curlos' house looks like a thrown together mess. Like they couldn't decide what to do so they just threw whatever in there.

I had no idea that Ken thought he was a ninja. His house isn't bad, except for the floor I hate that floor. It just really threw me for a loop and he wouldn't redecorate.

Nibbles house also looks pretty thrown together. She's sort of letting me redecorate it, but I can't get her to give up the pingpong table or the bike. :\ I never took her for the outdoorsy sporty type, but she's really attached to them.

Trying to maintain some semblence of theme in Ankha's house is straight up the bane of my existence. It's so frustrating because all her stuff is duplicate so she doesn't seem to like it if I just try and send her more pyramids and crap, ugh. There just aren't that many things that look as good with her house as her default stuff!

Oh man, yeah, that would be a totally cute house except the floor is realllllly, really loud. I always like it when they have a theme that makes it easy to send matching gifts, which he definitely has, but ugh get an area rug or something, dude, please!

agreed. with the moon rabbit theme she's got going on, she had lovely potential, but her house is just a total mess. :/
i remember being a little disappointed when i visited merry. green set? orange flooring and wallpaper? it's not the worst, but i expected something cuter from her.

I love Kid Cat, but his interior is just meh for me. It's hard to re-design his house because the furniture in his home is awkwardly placed imo, so I literally just gave up with him. All I did was give him a crane game and then called it a day. Kid Cat's interior is pretty much beyond saving.

The first villager that popped into my head was Chief. He is one of my all time favorites, but his house interior is just so dingy and dumpy. Fortunately with a bit of ingenuity I was able to turn things around with a lot of redecorating.

Come to think of it, Wolfgang's house is pretty underwhelming as well (though the howloids are a nice touch).
