I love this game, but the badges are a pain to earn

500 visits/visitors?


5000 fish and bugs?

Having to re-earn all these is the only thing I regret about selling my town. I wish badges carried over.

You don't have to get all them "collect em all"
Personally I've never cared about them.

I know how you feel, I'm trying to get the fishing badge and though it feels like I've caught thousands of fish, I still only have a bronze medal.

My town is almost 3 years old, and I still don't have the Bellionaire badge... ^^;

The one which is the biggest pain for me is the visitor one. I don't like visitors or visiting other towns especially 500 times! I guess I have a trusting issue.

I've had the game for 4 years and the only badge left to get is gold streetpass. And the more time goes by the less likely I'm to streetpass people who play the game. I really want to get all the badges before I move on to a new AC.

I don't mind the difficulty. I just wish there was some sort of tracker for the bugs/fish etc ones.

And yeah, street pass is going to be hard. I've been stuck on silver.

I love collecting badges but some can be a pain to get like a few of you guys mentioned the street pass one, there isn't as many players who play acnl anymore and its only going to get harder to earn that badge

I've completed them for 2 of my mayors.
The visiting/host badge is boring and takes along time to complete. When I had some free time my 2 towns visited each other to get the badges. It took forever to just get thru 20 visits. The dialogue and than the loading/save took forever.

The fishing amount caught was one of the harder ones. It's a waiting game to catch them. With bugs it's easy if you are already catching them to make bells. See a bug and swing the net. Got it.

The streetpass badge was the last one badge. I gave up tagging other players because the only tag I got was from myself. Made sure to tag myself twice a day and got lucky with a random person tagging me 2X a day. The 3DS never left the house and I think they had their 3DS set up for streetpass tags from the house next door. Those tags gave me the gold badge.

The 5000 weed challenge is the hardest for me since I use the beautiful ordinance. Even after 3+ years I've only received the Bronze medal for weeds.
