Oh, definitely the tarantulas! LOL He does have fascinating information. I donated the great purple emperor today and I have to agree with him. ewww...

I've never donated one by one til this game. Especially the fossils. He gets so excited when they are complete.

I usually try to donate my bugs one by one just to see his reactions lol (also I just love bugs) as well as the fish but I usually skip over the fossil ones. Not sure why just not as interested since a lot of dino info is speculation

I think my favorite is still the sabertooth lion fossil though! He acts like a proper bird. xD Considers it the apex predator because it's a big cat.

Not a bug, but the snapping turtle explanation/anecdote was my favorite. Blathers apparently had an, um, confrontation with one.

Imo I totally relate to Blather’s fear of bugs cuz I kinda am grossed out by them too (I reaaaaaaally don’t like spiders) but it’s fun to see what he says about them though tho lol

However I am perfectly fine with butterflies and ladybugs tho.
