I lost my game cartidge for acnl!

Basically was tidying my room and noticed the cartridge was not in its usual spot and not in my 3DS XL, after having spent 7 hours looking for it I must relent and admit defeat, it has vanished

I lost mine for a few months, bought a new one, and found mind under my couch cushion.

Don't give up! I lost one of my cartridges for months but I finally found it when I was cleaning. It was under the rug. Somehow.

Did you toss anything out? See if maybe you scooped it up with some other stuff and accidentally trashed it. As long as there was no food or liquids, if it's there it should be okay.

Where were you the last time you played it? Did you check chair/couch cushions or under your pillow, blanket or in the sheets if you were in bed? I'd also check under and behind furniture. Hopefully it'll turn up the next time you search.

If you can't get under the bed/sofa then put a pair of tights over the end of a vacuum and on the lowest setting see what you can bring up.

thanks guys, I had another look today and retraced my steps so far but no luck, I may have to pull bed away from the wall at the weekend to look (its far too heavy for me to move right now) I have a good suspicion that it might well have slipped off the side of my bed (I was messing around with my cartridges trying to sort them out) and gone down the side of it, looks like when and if I do find it eventually, my poor town of Bragbury will be covered in hideous weeds, (didn't get round to enabling beautiful town on it)

Aww man, hope you can find your ACNL cartridge soon! don't give up, I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere. I remember I kept on losing my old pink DS stylus quite a lot (before it was completely lost), and I usually found it in the sofa.

I actually lost my stylus a few days ago. I panicked haha but found it 10 minutes later luckily

I think I would be really sad and upset if I lost my cartridge :< It's literally the only game I play though, so it rarely leaves my DS...I hope you end up finding it! c:
