I just recently learned who she is. I did lots of research and it all matches up perfectly. The facts: One man reported hearing this." SOS...SOS...SOS...SOS... Northwest unknown island 177 longitude...Quite down,but radio still working............. Blah Blah, I'll end there, I'm too lazy you want to here it, research it. Then, another man reported hearing her yelling as Fred Noonan was beaten up by Japanese soldiers. Okay, many people also think she was spying for the U.S. government( almost WWII). This explains why she went off course and how she got money to repair her plane. She also left Lae with not a full tank of gas. They found objects that seem to belong to her on the island of Nikumaroro and there was a prison used by the japanese on the island of Sanpai. People on the island reported seeing them. So how does this all add up btw you didn't have to read the past few things, that was just some facts.

She kept changing radio frequencies so no one, not the japanese nor the radio stations knew where she was. They saw her. They either shot her down or she ran out of gas.
