I kinda feel bad for Isabelle.

I agree. I wish there was more variety to what they were saying like in Population Growing. Didnt WW have more dialogue? ^

As annoying as it is to place PWP's sometimes I do feel bad for her. (Even though she isnt real) Ive seen people on other sites make a room in their home what would be her and Digbys room. Sometimes I say I want to build a PWP just to get her out of town hall besides the holidays.
Instead of a room for them, I built the fire hydrant and water pump PWPs for Isabelle and Copper so that they can go do their business and get drinks when they're thirsty, even though they don't realistically need to or anything.
That would be great if they could integrate a PWP or something for us to interact more with NPCs in general. All of them constantly stay in their places and just have the same dialogue. You don't even get to go in depth to know their past stories like with how Labelle became a lost sister and such. There's not background story anymore. Gulliver is probably the most diverse considering he at least mentions different countries, but eventually that gets boring when you know all the countries.

I was actually thinking of building one in my town specifically for them awhile ago, but it wouldnt really fit the theme I had in mind for my town.

And I agree. Besides the cafe, Retail and main street there isnt very many ways for players to interact with NPC's. It couldve been thought about, but space on the game cartridge is so limited so I bet a lot of ideas were scrapped. Like someone else said previously in the thread is I miss Blathers ramblings :(

dont worry, there are actually 365 isabelle clones that each work 1 day a year.
on leap years,,. a paradox apppears and it 999 isabelles destroy the universe

I would totally love in the next upcoming AC to see workers such as Gulliver , Isabelle , Digby , Blather , Sable , Kicks , etc to see wandering around in your town . Like when you see them in the Cafe but instead talking to you , talking to your villagers , ping you for exciting pwp ! Yeah , they got jobs , but maybe let them run wild for a sec , enjoy fresh air instead of being stuck inside stores . >w<

Yes, if people in real life get time off from their jobs, the poor overworked slave animals in AC should get more free time too besides just running their shop and going to bed when it closes

I'm really flabbergasted at the amount of hate and strong dislike I continue to see toward her on these forums. People are entitled to their opinions, of course, but it just boggles me how she really deserves it. She's not an evil character and even finding a character annoying or irritating wouldn't usually grow into such rampant hate.

Or so I would have thought. Poor girl. At least she has her loyal fanbase on tumblr.

I really wish there were options to "Give Isabelle A Day Off" or even just for her to roam around town at lunchtime or something.

Or a Public Works Project to build a house for her. The poor girl must sleep in the Mayor's chair.

I agree. If not this, then I just wish that they had the NPC/Shop characters become like villagers (maybe with their houses up on Main Street to conserve space). That way they could at least go home at night and get some sleep and you could visit them/interact with them more. I'd like to think that the series could possibly be headed in that direction.

I don't see what all the hate towards her is about. To me, the only annoying thing about her is how nit-picky she is when you're trying to build PWP's and it's not enough aggravation to cause me to hate her.
She deserves a day off every now and again, she's such a workaholic!

That's how I feel, too. And it's the game mechanics that won't let you put those Public Works Projects wherever you want, anyway. Isabelle just happens to be the character that assists with that.

I guess in a way, she sort of gets a fun day for Holidays and such? She still runs the events and that's work in itself, but at least it looks like she enjoys them a great deal.

Yeah, I know - all true. I just don't get the hate towards her lol

I don't, either, but people are entitled to their opinions. I chalk it up to there being a lot of younger people that play the games. I noticed that most of her big supporters/fans are generally at least in their late teens or older. Which isn't true for everyone, of course.

Very true and the pattern makes sense. It's true in my case :D
