I keep missing my chance!

I really want Cube to move to my town, and I saw two threads about him in the Villager Trading Plaza. However, they become locked so quickly! And they were giveaways! Cube isn't exactly a popular villager, but I think he's cool and I want another lazy to increase the chances of getting one of their public works. The post was around 7-ish today, I come on here around 9:15, and I read the post. He was being held for like 20 more minutes, and the thread was locked. I really want Cube...and luckily for me, my 10th villager is leaving on the 20th so I'd have room for him if I were to time travel. Has this ever happened to any of you? You see a villager you want, and then it's too late?

All the time, actually. And funny enough I got Cube on a random move in, on my main cart. I was just going to void him whenever he pings because I was so angry he moved in. I had JUSt made a deal to get Bam (my #1 dreamie) and he plotted the day after someone moved out).

Yep, happened on tumblr whenever I did have a space open.

I'd suggest looking for Cube on Reddit as well.

I missed my chance to get many dreamies cycling threads, but I got lucky in a raffle today and got Marshal, so now 9/10 are done! I just have to plot reset marshal, cycle Nan out, and get molly and plot reset her! <3

I've missed Gala twice. Well the first time I got there in time, but I haven't heard back from the person since.

I've yet to even see Marcie offered, I think people auto-void her. I really wish more people would post *just in case*. I posted a just in case thread with Tucker, figuring nobody would want him, but he was snapped right up to a girl that had been looking for a month.

I've missed quite a few raffles & giveaways for some of the villagers I wanted, that's what made me post every leaving villager just in case. I figured every villager is somebody's dreamie or wanted villager...

I think it's mainly because if a villager isn't in the first two tiers, they pretty much get auto-voided because people are in a rush to see if the next one in is worth anything.

Just a theory...I just wish it was more about trying to help people get their dreamies than it was about making bells. Although I would give every bell I have for my kids dreamies.

Very true. I advertised Frank, a cranky green eagle, and turns out he was somebody's dreamie.

Somebody even wanted Quillson, but they were a week too late and he moved out. D;

Aw, I'm happy that somebody else likes Cube. I wouldn't say he's unpopular or anything, but I never really see him getting traded around a lot. I wonder why? The best way to get a villager is to just keep looking and trying! I find that you just have to be in the right place at the right time.
