I keep getting good villagers in my camp and I don't know why. ._.

So i'm a time traveller aaahhh,, and i've seen quite a few good villagers in my camp. I've had Goldie (who I unfortunately find very bland ;; )Kabuki (I instantly fell in love with. He's on my island vibin in mini japan I built for him!) Tia (Who made me change my views on the elephants! She's simply adorable.) and today Zucker (Who I refuse to let move in.) Aaaah What's up with me? Does the RNG favor me or something??

Same lol, every single time I tt to kick a villager out so I can go island hopping I end up getting a dreamy or a really cute villager in my campsite instead (Stella, Zucker, Frita, Genji). Zucker, Frita and Genji were literally all on my dreamie list. I had to pass on Frita tho cuz I couldn't kick anyone out at the time.

The rare times I actually manage to go island hopping I literally get a dreamie within 4-7 NMT. Last time I went island hopping I decided to ignore any dreamies if they show up within the first 10 NMT and I got 3 in the first 7... I dont understand I only have like 14 villagers on my list

I was able to obtain my dreamies through trade! Though when I tt I got Kabuki my dreamie baby,, and Tia was just a surprise! Is tting really the key?

Yaaay! Lmao On a serious note though, yeah I get that. You definitely shouldn’t get villagers that you don’t really want even if they’re popular. Some people have done that and it kinda sucks cause it puts a bad rep for people who genuinely like those villagers and want them on their town since people would assume that you only have that villager because it’s popular even though that’s not the case at all. Stay true to yourself! I have a very wide selection of villagers I like and the people that you had got were on my favorites list. Kabuki is one of the best cats and I’m really tempted to put him on my dreamie’s list but I really do love Static. I had Kabuki before and yeah he’s a awesome villager.

same!! i TT to get ordered items for trading and i keep getting good villagers at the camp lol that's how i got genji (my ultimate dreamie!!) so i was super happy when he appeared!! never expected him to show up there tbh, i saved up a lot of miles to island hop for him but lol

also during island hopping, i keep getting really cute/famous villagers like marina, maple, stitches, flurry, zucker (who i invited in since i was running low on nmt that time and still havent found a dreamie).. and they even appear twice or thrice

i've barely had any campsite villagers, let alone decent ones.

my island hopping luck, however? completely different story. i ran into raymond twice the last time i was doing it as well as merengue, ruby, daisy, octavian and ketchup.
vesta's leaving tomorrow so hopefully the luck carries over when i go hopping to replace her.

Ha I feel this a bit. Amongst my first few campers were Julian, Judy, Lolly, and Genji. Started to wonder if I'd built the campsite on sacred ground.
