I just saw this video about eating meat

That's the thing though. Just because some animals eat other animals doesn't mean we should. There are plenty of herbivorous animals out there. We're omnivores, so it's not about 'equality' it's about choosing whether or not you want to eat meat, vegetables, or both, being that we can survive either way.

Now, meat IS on the menu, sorry. But you cant tell me you can live on vegetables alone. You need your protein shakes and supplements. Now, you can say you might be able to. But then explain why the human body is designed to eat vegetables AND meat. Yes, both. Obviously, not to challenge us to pick the right choice. Nature gave us an advantage, the best of both worlds.

Also note that I'm not trying to offend you or anything, just presenting you with this. <3

Just because you're given it doesn't mean you have to use it.

I don't think nature expected us to take full advantage of this advantage and capture and breed animals in captivity only to get slaughtered painfully.

There are tons of alternatives to getting the nutrients meat supplies without eating the meat. Yep, meat is on the menu. We can have either one, which is a good thing. But you can also choose not to have meat...humans have created tons of alternatives so you can live a healthy life and still be a vegetarian. Vegetarians are vegetarians for a reason...whether it's psychological, ethical, a religion thing, animal rights, etc etc etc

And lulz, you're not offending me in any way.

Ok I think we've got that we have a choice to eat, coffeh likes veggies, and I love meat, birds fly, grass grows, sunshines, etc.
Thread has no point anymore.

I do have to agree, the condition in which these creatures are killed is sad.

It does, however, come down to a point I presented earlier:

A simple rule of nature is what ever species you are apart of, if capable of understanding the concept of collective effort and self sustainability, one should always try to propagate their species or better it above all others. A mater of survival. It is the essence of life.

It's production for a large amount of people. We've created a system where we all can't go out and hunt for our food, skin it, etc. etc., so we set up a system in which meat is conveniently available for those of us more caught up in our man-made system (i.e. government, economy, you get the gist).

We do, however, have a choice. As coffee said earlier, nutrient redistribution systems are out there.

THE MORE YOU KNOW~

But we can survive without meat.

Eatting plants would be more convenient. You can grow them in your own home.

I meant to say but instead of be. My bad. It doesn't make a difference though so I don't know why I'm explaining it right now.

But the paragraph you quoted said that eating meat is a matter of survival.

We don't need meat to survive.

Eating plants would be more convenient. You can grow them in your own home.

Never said you had to eat meat, really. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

Nutrient redistribution, as I said.

Oh well. I guess I interpreted it wrong.
