I just recreated my town. What are your opinions on it?

Town Name: Celadon (From Pokemon)
Native Fruit: Apples (Hooray!)
Map:

Likes:
- Short River
- Only two small lakes
- Definitely the fact that all of the buildings are right next to eachother
- Lots of space on the left
- Starting villagers are all in one area
- Apples are my native fruit

Dislikes:
- River has an organic line to it (Can't get away from that, I suppose)

Overall, one of the best maps I've had. I also didn't have to reset for it.

BONUS QUESTION!
Where do you think I should place my house?

I think you should put your house ether somewhere below town hall or in the top right corner, near retail ^_^

if you placed your house there you'll be close to the retail plus you can hear the ocean inside your house because it's placed beside the beach, also you can plant flowers and trees beside your house without the fear of losing them from villager plots because of the narrow space left

If it was my town I personally would put my house in the spot near the lower beach ramp, but that's because I like houses near the bottom cliff
love the layout, it's pretty much perfect ^_^

Wow what a great map :O only con for me is no south facing waterfall. You look like you have a ton of space to work with too C: very similar to my map in the sense that all of the buildings are in one line at the top part of town and it works out great with ponds. Huge plus that you didn't have to reset for it either

This is what I would do too, just be sure to have a spot planned out for a bridge before crowding the river.

I`d save the spot to the right of retail for either the cafe or police station (though it looks like it might be a tight fit)

Nice map, congrats! I like how your town hall and town tree plaza are so close by,also lots of space. I?d place my house near the lower beach on the left side because there is plenty of space for landscaping and for a nice garden maybe.

Looks great I can never get my villagers to line up their houses /shrug

I'd put the house south of town hall and the town tree, then make the whole area surrounding my house trees so I'd live in a forest. But that's just me.

Read your replies, thanks! I regret not reading them sooner, though, because I settled my house down below the train station. Now that I think about it, I regret not putting it in the corner!
