Quicktime plays the video files that iTunes uses.

Quicktime plays the video files that iTunes uses.

But I don't see why you wouldn't. Safari, from a web developer's point of view, is the best browser out there. And Quicktime X is just plain awesome. With the Perian plugin, it can play pretty much any filetype, and convert it, too! It also has a built in screen recorder now, which is awesome. At least Apple's preinstalled applications are actually good, not crap like Internet Explorer, Windows Movie Maker, and Windows Media Player.

He's right though, Apple's pre-installed applications are actually good. Granted the browser is personal opinion, but nobody can debate that Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Player and completely and utterly *censored.2.0*.
