I had posted in another thread wondering if I should restart my main town or rebuild it on a blank cartridge and someone (cannot remember who), said I should do it on a blank one as I may end up regretting starting over. I am so glad I listened to that person. I got as far as having all the shops except Gracie, had layed down paths to plot out spots for the villagers. Had the blue train station and town hall that I loved, one beach. But for the past two days I could not move forward.....every time I would start to move in a villager, I would stop and relook at the town and it dawned on me today, that even though the RV camp is not where I would have put it, and I do not like the color of my train station.....I love my town over all. So, I am going to wipe to other cartridge, and learn to like where the RV camp plopped down.
Thank you to the person that told me not to wipe out my town!! I would have regretted it.
i can relate to this bc i get so annoyed w a lot of the placements in my town but i would never restart bc i have never had a complete or near to complete town so i just have to live w it lol
One of the beautiful things about animal crossing is its ability to be like real life, it has its own quirks and mistakes, but it still prevails in the end. Not only that, but it starts to grow on you until you feel like it's part of you...
Sorry I am a beginner but I love this game :3
I've had issues with my town for a while, like not liking where things are, especially villagers houses. But I wouldn't trade my town for the world! It's unique and it's mine. I'm glad you came to a conclusion that made you happy! And that second cartridge could come in handy later, you never know!
I also don't like where things are in my town...and I would have much preferred the camp in a different location. It's too late to reset again now though, I thought about it when the update came but since then I've had so much rare stuff collected again that I would really regret it. Plus I would have to tt a lot to unlock everything again as I'm so impatient
Well done for choosing the right option for you, glad you didn't make a mistake
