I have two towns, please help me!

So in April, I had bought AC;NL for my 3ds. That 3ds stopped working, so now I had gotten a second 3ds for $100.
Thing is, this morning I tried to fix my broken 3ds and.. it turned on! My town was there, my villagers.. (No need for dreamies now.)
but problem is.. I used my old town's name in my new one. You know, for a bit of nostalgia.
But what am I supposed to do with two towns? I'm not resetting either one, too much memories but..
I just don't know what to do! Help?

people use a second game for many reasons. some use it just to play another town, some people use them to cycle villagers, some people use them to farm hybrids (or fruit), or a mixture of some of those reasons. use your imagination. ~~~run free~~~

You can cycle dreamies, have a themed town, the possibilities are endless

I'd use it to cycle for villagers that are your dreamies. Or for other people to help them get their dreamies if that's your sort of thing.
