I have to reset my town!!!

I had town, didn't play it for a long time, and now it's ruined!!!! NOW I HAVE TO RESET IT!!!

No you don't...There is something called pulling weeds. If you pull all of your weeds and clean up your town (maybe takes you 10 mins or so) you can revive your town.
