I'm ok with this. Today's school textbooks in most states are totally made by liberals. Not enough credit is given to America's true presidents such as Truman for example. Any guy who has enough balls to drop the atomic bomb and end our war with Japan gets my vote.

Rant time. Seriously? I mean, seriously? They want to start putting Christian beliefs into public schools? If you want that, go to a Catholic school. That's kinda what they're there for. The U.S. already has horrible test scores, and now they're putting unsubstantiated, complete lies in textbooks? They're rewriting history for God's sake. As if our society wasn't prejudiced enough to begin with. They don't want to mention the Hispanic community, even though 30 million Americans speak Spanish. White elitist, much? Second point: They're not mentioning American imperialism. Yes, America did invade Cuba, and Mexico, and many other nations in the pursuit of greed. You can't hide the fact that we did terrible things in the past. The only way we may move forward as a nation and world is to recognize the mistakes of our ancestors. Thirdly: They want to mention communism with negative connotation. What ever happened to telling students the facts and letting them form their own opinions?
I say, we stop injecting our kids with bias, blind patriotism, and actually join the rest of the industrialized world in crafting a better future for our world.


I swear to god, if this passes I'm moving to Canada.
