Guys, I've had Lolly for a long time, and before coming here I had no idea she was so coveted...

Dare I say it...I don't know... here it goes... guys, I don't get it. What's the fuss? She's not, like, THAT spectacular. I think I might even like Carmen or Sydney more than her. So what's the fuss about?

Lolly is pretty cute, I guess that's why she's pretty sought out for, especially here. It just depends on people's preferences. I was lucky to get Lolly in a giveaway, and let me tell you there were a lot of people that entered in it.

I bought my game secondhand and when I booted it up it had someone else's town on it. They had Marshall in their town... and I didn't realize until way after I'd deleted it to make my own town just HOW coveted that cute little squirrel was.

I have Lolly and I find her adorable. She is very sweet. If I wasn't going for an all cat town though, I would have passed on her. Normals to me are pretty boring though, so yah.

In my main town Lolly was a starter on release date. So happy to see her because she lived in my older towns.
She still lives in my main town with Teddy another oldie that I love.

In my guest town I stopped a mover a few days before Lolly showed up in the campground. I could have had a extra Lolly.
I did have Marshall as a villager in that town but I didn't know he was so popular. At the time I was letting them come and go all the time. Right now I have a nice group of villagers that I like.

I was thinking the same thing!

I had Lolly in my main before, but she moved out without telling me and I was sad. She's just cute. And it's kind of hard to compare Sydney and Carmen because they're different personality types. Lolly is a normal, Carmen is peppy and iirc Sydney is snooty. I think normals are sweet in fact a lot of the villagers I like are normal....It's just a person's personal preference. People make these threads all the time "What's so great about >insert popular villager here<" and that's just it. It's different for everyone and other people have their own reasons that differ from other peoples. I think some villagers are butt-ugly (like Katt) but other people really like them.

They all fall for his pouty face, he has a really cool house. I like him, but there's a few smugs I like a lot more, like Pietro, Ed, and Ken. Everyone has different taste, for some reason the wolves and deer are all super popular.

Lots of people like Wolves, so many people like Wovles, and Deers are a new species in this game so everyone is like omfg ;-;

She was a starting villager in my second town and I've found her to be sweet. I wouldn't go hunting for her, but I like the normals, as well as cats. I guess it comes down to personal taste.

Lolly is very sweet, and she has a simple but charming design. She almost looks like a real cat, and I often see her in dream towns.

I was under the impression that people like him for the furniture in his house (sloppy set, flatscreen tv, etc). I somehow managed to get him in my second town as one of the original villagers and he is pretty cute. He says funny little sayings and he's just adorable.

Also, she's the perfect stand-in for Fluttershy, who is Japan's favorite pony.

I think most people like her because her design is really cute, and peppy villagers are usually fun to talk to!
