I Have A Rafflesia

If the player's town has enough weeds to generate the "worst" rating, a giant, hideous and smelly flower known as the Rafflesia will appear. You cannot remove it by picking it or digging it up. To completely remove a Rafflesia, the player must pick all the weeds in the acre surrounding the plant. Right after removing the weeds, the plant will wilt.

I believe that quote about the Rafflesia is for the old versions of the game. In this game, if you have less trees then it appears. If you plant more trees, then it'll go away.

I think the weeds are still possible for a Rafflesia to appear, but I could be wrong.

Huh. I thought I heard less trees can make it appear and adding more can make it go away. Maybe its just me.

It can be weeds and not enough or too many trees. I got one in my side town for all of those.
One time I removed all the weeds and it stayed put. Removed some perfect fruit trees and it disappeared. At the time I had enough trees to harvest 90 baskets of perfect fruit each time. Cleared them so my newest town can fish in peace and quiet.
Villagers pinging while you trying to catch a huge fish is a pain.

you can have one in your town without having weeds! just means you don't have enough trees. I should know, that's how I got one in my town. I kinda... well, chopped down all the trees. :'> it was a few days before I could plant enough trees to make it go away.

so uh, yeah. try planting a few more trees. or removing some if you've got a lot. even if you put a tent on it to remove it.
