I have a question about this pearl oyster I found...

I usually don't care about Re-Tail premium items but I saw that it was Sand Dollars today, and figured why not scour my beach and make a few bells. On the beach I picked up 2 or 3 pearl oysters. I don't know if I ever saw them in my two old towns. When I talked to Cyrus with them in my pocket he didn't acknowledge them as something he could work on. Are these pearl oysters the ones that can be made music boxes?

I don't THINK they are. It seems too easy for something that I never see (music boxes). Is what I'm thinking of something you find when diving?
