I have a question about 3ds diary!

I really want to hard reset my 3dsXL, because my 3ds diary is a mess and I want to get the hours that I played ACNL clean (because I resetted so much it's not even cool anymore).

But I am really scared that I will lose the downloaded games from the eshop (Harvest Moon, mario 3dland AND Animal Crossing.)

Can someone tell me more about how to do this the save way?

The 3DS diary isn't even important. Nobody is really going to see it. Harvest moon and mario and AC are great games so even risking it is going to be bad.

Do you mean the activity log? I don't think you need to hard reset the 3DS, you can select the animal crossing icon within it and then delete it using the bin icon in the bottom corner. I dont know if when it re-appears (after you play again) it will be new or contain all the old log data though lol, but try it.

Edit: I just noticed I played 800 hours

I just did this two days ago. It will erase all of your data, but not your eShop data. You have to redownload all of your games after you get your 3DS set up again.

You also get a new friend code.
