I hate the bug off if I tt would it restart or reset points?

I don?t really like time travelling but it?s frustrating me at this point lol
I?m doing the trick where you give Nat bugs, list the points, then force exit and then submit accdg to points to get more rewards, but earlier I forgot to NOT save which forces me to beat a higher point
This is bugging me so bad pun intended

Do you mean to TT back to before the tourney starts? Unknow territory for me.

There is another way, tho it depends on how high that high point is currently - get a visitor over to donate bugs - if they go over that high point you set (& also if they go over I think its 80 points) they will get bug furniture which they can drop for you.

I do this all the time with my own games - it makes the whole business less frustrating, but then later on I do a tourney for fun/more legit. Well having a visitor over isn't cheating, but it certainly makes the thing easy.

If you are on now & want to try this I am willing to come over - it depends on how high your high point is - I collect birdwings for this purpose. (& I have some in stock, they vary in points from around 80 to 126ish) - I am in 2013 ingame but that does not affect either game.

I'll be on for around 30mins from now - its 11.06am my time - I can't remember how messages work on BTF - I'm on gamefaqs same I/d. but will check back - no probs if you would rather wait for an answer to the TT qn - I presume TT back would not adversely affect the high score or the tourney, albeit it might not lower it. But I don't know.
Or you could freeze time and get another player to do similar to what I suggest.

Edit: I'm off now, I guess I'm in a different time zone to you, as a visitor (to one of my other games) I do get a lot of bug/fish furniture duplicates, maybe cos I've got the set in my catalog, dunno know.
A visitor can't help you get a trophy, just the furniture. A vistor's score does not affect your high score.
Hope you get an answer to the TT qn - I'm interested in the answer, I don't TT as such but I freeze ingame time to play several games/with limited real life time.

I feel like since tt back will always be 1 day forward, if set before 6am, so that means the bug off would be supposedly over & my last submission could make me the winner & I?ll basically just be repeating the day/event? So it?s like cheating and where?s the fun in that. I wonder though if somebody tried tt back but on the same day.

That strategy to having visitor over is smart! I did remember reading something about that somewhere. Unfortunately, you?d probably be offline now as I was just having lunch and took a break.

Oh, and my record rn is 81 & luckily did not save when I submitted a 98 point bug. Which I thought would be around 79-85

Ok I just listed several bugs and their points now & would be enough for me to get 7 items. The downside to this is that they are actually expensive bugs
If I hadn't accidentally saved earlier I had 70-80 & 81 point bugs that are not expensive stags urgh.

I've time travelled back because my spare town bug off was over. At 6pm a player was in 1st place.

Time travelled back for another town that caught their last bugs hours later. That town was set in a none bug off month and I wanted the golden nets.
When I time travelled back 10 minutes before bug off was done the player in 1st wasn't mentioned. It erased her 1st place.
Three villagers won the bug off.

very pleased to see Stitchmaker posting, from what she says it does seem to indicate that TT alters the score. Not sure what the effect would be for you if you did that. I'm hoping you got the items & a trophy.

Hello. Thanks I imanaged to get the gold trophy but not all the furniture prices. I got a lot though & that?s because I tt a few hours back as I needed more time. It did change the first place record, it removed my score so it was a good thing. Even though I reset & stuff, I never manage to get the ones I want. The honeycube thing. It?s fine though it was fun.
