I keep changing my mind on the path layout and now I've totally messed it up and I absolutely hate it now. I need a path pattern i can be perfectly happy with

I think (this is just my opinion, sorry if it doesn't help a lot haha..) you should plan your town carefully and plan what you're going to do and what goes where and what theme, etc. before you restart. :) Also if you're trying to make a path with patterns, there are lots of sites that have QR codes for paths. Dirt paths are created by (first) putting patterns and putting trees, flowers, and bushes covering the sides of the path, and then (opt) taking off the path, then after a while the grass would wear away. (sorry if the dirt path doesn't help I'm not really an expert on creating dirt paths. :l)

Path patterns are an easy fix if that's all that's bothering you. There are a tooooon of different qr code sites. I'm sure after a time of scrolling through them you'll find one you like.

Try path patterns in the neutral colors like grey, brown, tan. Neutral colors usually blend in with everything.

Try planning the theme of your town, what colours you want and who your dream villagers are, search up websites with QR path codes and go from there (even draw diagrams

If you hate your patterns throw them all out and try a different set of them. This process shouldn't take that long (of course, depending on how many patterns you have laid out). After that, I recommend going to THIS site and begin your amazing quest on searching for new path patterns. I don't know what you like and dislike so I'll leave this part up to you. Good luck.

I'm just bad at placing pathes. I'm also rather lazy and slow at it so It takes me ages. I just put a simple pattern down and I actually rather despise it. I'm just too lazy to do anything about it.

THIS page might help as well. It's a blog where you can submit your town map and they can help plan out your paths. I haven't used this personally, but it seems to have been helpful to a lot of people.
