I hate it when it's rare

I found the one butterfly I'm missing the raja Brooke butterfly
My inventory was full and dint have a space behind me
So the game forcefully let it go
they are rare for me and I need one for museum

Have you ever had those mistakes?

I had that happen not long ago too with a fish. I can't remember which one it was but since there was no space because I was on my path and there were flowers, I was forced to let it go. I caught another one afterwards, but it was a pain in the ass. :/

Call the game developers and fight them outside of nintendo headquarters. They can't get away with this.

I caught a butterfly (thank god it wasn't rare) and the game forced me to release it cause my inventory was full. After that I knew if I wanted to catch a rare bug/fish I had to have space for it..Hate how they removed the option to swap it like in wildworld.

That's not fair about losing a butterfly when it's over a pathway or flowers. The butterfly goes up and not on the ground when you let it go. Still it should give you a option to release another butterfly.
I've lost a yellow butterfly because my pockets were full. All the other bugs were higher priced bugs so it let the yellow butterfly go.
I haven't lost a fish. It always gives me the option to swap it out when my pockets are full.
