• Good evening, everyone! We have an egg hunt announcement! An additional clue for egg #21 will be posted Monday at 6 PM EDT if it hasn't been found by then. The egg hunt will also be extended until Tuesday morning at 10 AM EDT.

I Hate Dogs

i didn't think about it that wayy guyss D: I'm extremely worried about him catching my cat someday and what he will do to her :(

If he's not trained, he very well might.

My grandparents had a boxer and a little yippy dog, they were best friends and then one day the boxer just attacked the little dog and killed her. Pepper was well trained, well behaved, and she still did this. So an untrained dog is more likely to do so.

DUDE CATS ARE EVEN WORSE. My cat Ginger chews any sort of wires I leave out, be they headphones, phone, or my only Gameboy Advance charger. Not even getting into what she does to my pillows...

You can train cats as well.

Put tabasco on your wires every other day for a few weeks, your cat will stop. But if she is like my kitten you'll need bitter apple spray watered down a little bit.

I wouldn't put tabasco on anything...that's a bit harsh. I've always just used spray bottles of water to train my cats. With the exception of one cat who loved water, so he got vinegar.

I tried that =o = He loves water. he joins me in my showers, and plays in the water, he likes vinegar, too. I tried that. I would spray him and he would give himself a bath for like an hour to get it all off.. I used mild tabasco and he ended up loving it.

But the bitter apple he's HATES

Once again, if you don't train your pets I don't feel for you...
How exactly am I suppose to train her to stop? If I put them away, she waits until I go to sleep to open the drawers and chew them up. If I put stuff on the wires, she still chews them; it fact, I think she even likes the stuff. I can and have trained her to behave in every other aspect - heck she even plays fetch - but when it comes to cords I'm at a loss.

how'd you train her to play fetch?

Bulgogi is a little terror, but he's only 7 months old so soon he'll chill out.

As for your dog, dogs crave a regimented lifestyle. Do you feed him at the same time, take him for walks at the same time? Does he have set boundaries? These are all important for his well being as well.

It sounds horrible... But the way Gogi finally stopped was he got shocked real good. He hasn't touched a wire since. =o =. He yelped and ran to me and I took him to the vet to make sure he was okay and they laughed and were like "He's fine, that'll learn him."

You can't blame a pet of doing this. If he has behavioral problems, it's more often than not, the owners fault. My dog destroyed my bravely default game cart, but it was my fault for not being more vigilant.

Honestly I'm not quite sure. We had a foam pool frisbee we would throw around for her to chase after, and then one day she brought it back to us to throw again. She's a strange cat; she like to sit on my shoulder whenever I do stuff, even though she's kinda too big to be doing that anymore.

my dog? We feed him every morning and at dinner time 1 1/2 cup fulls both times. He never gets taken on walks tho.

sounds like my kitten with his crinkle fishy.

Oh god and lazer pointers with him. You shine it on the wall and a smacks his chops and looks like a little tiger about to pounce and I just die.

I wish my cat would do cool things. She doesn't even like to sleep with me :( She's just an every day cat

THAT is your problem. How big is he? what is his breed. ALL DOGS need walks, even little dogs.

he's a black lab. I think he's smaller than average labs. He has seizures every so often too :( He had three the other night and my mom thinks he bit his tongue because he was bleeding out of his mouth and our house looked like a murder scene

Black labs NEED walks and outside time to run and get out allll their excess energy. Labs are working dogs so they are breed to have a plethora of energy. You need to take them on long walks or even runs. My white lab and I used to run 6 miles a day together and she was the best behaved dog in the world, all because we got all her energy out. Or this destruction will only get worse and continue.

Your dog is BORED. Labs are wonderful, friendly dogs if they are properly trained and have enough exercise. Otherwise they DO bite, they DO chew and they CAN attack other pets or even LITTLE KIDS out of boredom.

Is he socialised? I would suggest taking him to a dog park to run around and play with other dogs if he is. If he isn't, get him to a dog trainer asap and get him trained.

If you dog has seizures (a risk of this breed due to inbreeding unfortunately) he needs to be put on seizure medications or he could have a big one and die.

It sucks, but these are the responsibilities as a pet owner.
