I like the open vastness of a fresh new town. However, I do love the public works projects I put up. It's just that...I don't really like the custom design paths that much, and too many flowers looks like a rainbow threw up in my town. I'm not sure what to do...I'm always switching between paths or no paths, lots of flowers in a space, or a few. I don't want a generic boring town, but I don't want it to be crowded, busy, and corrupted of flowers and too many trees. What should I do? I want to keep some of the town's original look, but I still want it to be interesting and creative. Any ideas?

You could just do one nice path instead of the kind of setup I see in the Dream Suite a lot - Four kinds of path, no trees or grass. It might fit other peoples' tastes and that's fine, but I dislike it. You could also settle for one color of flower, bred across different kinds. For example, a town filled with purple pansies, roses, and tulips?

I do have a single path, because I've seen towns that do have them super wide and I think it's unnecessary. For flowers, though, I'm fine with different colors, I just don't want a lot clustered together. I usually plant like breeds together so they look nicer. Thanks for the advice, though.

EDIT: The only colors I do hate for flowers are yellow and orange. Cosmos and lilies are the flowers I really dislike.
