mine was kinda too late because shari was already on high friendship. and the day before she moved out, i learned the cold chill (the last from the regular reactions) and maybe if she stayed for a couple of weeks i'd get the best friend reaction but i was so impatient to get all my dreamies quick and now i have no space for an uchi and when i do, i'd have to start the friendship ladder all over again ugh

This is why my villagers revolve around having at least one of each type. I didn't really care for the jocks but I let Sterling move in and he's really grown on me.

I know what you mean.
I have some dreamies but I'm trying my hardest to not get overly attached to too many villagers unless Nintendo allow us to exchange the alt character plots for extra villager ones or just expand our Island.
I'm currently missing a jock but I'll be letting one of my lazies go in order to get him.
I kind of feel like having that extra unique personality is worth it as it brings a bit more life into the Island as well.
