I finished mapping out my town!

There was somebody who did this before, but I forgot their username ; ;

I mapped out my town for future reference, and for doing some layouts! If you want to do one yourself, then I have a transparent version of this! You can use MS paint to do this, but since I like to have everything in layers, I did mine in SAI.

Excel also works really well, that's what I used to map out my old town. It takes a while, though, unfortunately. Not looking to mapping out my new town, since I restarted yesterday. :/

I used patterns to help me map out my town, and I'm pretty sure you can't put down patterns on other people's towns

It's not a lot of work, tbh. Although I did get VERY confused for a while. I eventually found out how to fix it after taking a nap lmao

That does sound like a lot of work! And isn't Paint the worst tool? I think I'd break my mouse in frustration. Excel sounds tedious though.. maybe not. I wish I could see a template. As much as I'd like to map my town to get a better idea of where to place stuff, this is too much work for me unless I can't sleep at night

I haven't done a blueprint of my town space yet but I already have blueprints for all of the rooms for all 4 of my houses in my main town, so I understand the joy of mapping stuff out.

Haha yes! It took about 13-15 hours? But that was because I didn't really take breaks. And no, paint isn't the worst! I used it in the earlier stages because using SAI took up lots of time, but I prefer SAI because ~*layers*~

It can be done even if you sleep at night! The process would take you a few days to a few weeks if you have a packed schedule, but not impossible! (The tiring thing is deleting the patterns after you finish mapping everything.)

Yess I know. It's so satisfying to see everything come together.

I did the same thing sorta, but I made my picture from Miiverse pixely using an app, edited it a bit on AC via the QR code, and used it in my town

I've never heard of that app, what does that do? (so long as it's not messing with the game coding, shouldn't be classed)
