Check if its pluged in.
when in animal crossing click the heart see how low your volume is s tuff like that.

Make sure your mic settings are turned on. And also make sure the person you are playing with is enabling Wii Speak as well, or he won't be able to hear you. =DDD

Because, SSBB was made BEFORE Wiispeak came out.

So far, the only things you can use WiiSpeak with it Animal Crossing: City Folk and the WiiSpeak Channel. I'm sure they'll make more games in the future using WiiSpeak. Oh, and congratulations on getting AC:CF! Trust me, if you've liked the past AC games, you'll love this one!
