I finally completed Puzzle League Story Mode!

Okay, only the easy one, so far, but I was thinking I'd never be able to beat Isabelle. I guess I was just using the wrong amiibo. I had K.K. Slider, and he worked fairly well for the early levels, but not with Ms. Secretary.

After checking online, I decided to go with Rover (about time that vagabond cat made himself useful), and did much better. I had to battle her twice, but then I steamrolled Cornimer and won.

A little more practice and I'll be ready to try the next level. Maybe.

i've accepted that i will never beat puzzle league xD i traded for all the prizes, most of which are not my style but gotta fill that catalogue.

Thank you. If I didn't have the amiibo figures (compulsive collecting comes in handy, once in a while!), I probably would have ended up trading, as well.

Just about everything is going into a saved slot at the post office, but like you, I want to complete my catalog!

I've seen people say Mabel's ability is OP.

Desert Island Escape is great though.

I don't think you'd get much use out of the fairy outfit.

I don't know if he's the key, but when I read the list of abilities for the different figurines, his were the ones that gave me the best chance.

I went back to play the next level and I'm not having as much success with him. It might just be a matter of trial and error to find which amiibo work with your play style.

Congrats though that must have felt amazing when you finally beat the last level! I have not played that in like a year lol.

Yes, it is more frustrating than anything else. I don't understand the people who cleared it and won the rewards so quickly. I may give up on the second level and just focus on getting the flower fairy items from the other modes. Once I do, I doubt I'll play much.

And we won't even talk about Desert Island Escape. *shudder*

If I could give you a handshake I would for the accomplishment of completing this game. It is extremely hard! I finally beat the "Easy" mode on Puzzle League, it's very challenging.. Finally I'm on "Kinda Hard" mode, I've gotten surprisingly far despite how intense it gets with the mode, difference being another type of fruit block and more garbage blocks I believe.

I'm on Isabelle now, I have to beat the first stages before facing her off in order to at least get 10%+ support for each time, it's insane. I don't even have any amiibo figures, I bought the Mabel card thinking it would help me in the game.. Nope, it has to be the FIGURES! Worst part of the game is the timed stages, I was facing off Muffy (Garbage Blocks AND timed) and I got to 99.7% support before I lost due to time being up!

When you mentioned people completing the stages fast, I couldn't agree more with you. There's some person on YouTube who beat Kinda Hard mode under 25 minutes! I just wish I can have that skill xD

Once you start getting a bit a hang of it, it gets better but still. I'm never playing this again after I complete Kinda Hard mode.. that is if I can actually complete that mode. xD

It took me WAY too long to complete the story mode. I was sooo frustrated, especially more so as I couldn't scan in any amiibos to help me out (I have a regular 2DS and no cards). Gosh, I hated it way too much.
