The title of the thread basically explains my current situation. Now that I look at my town map I realize I dislike the town layout, but I've come very far (Just recently got the Cafe) so I don't know what I should do. Can anybody help me out here? :<

I have the same situation. I don't really like my town layout but I've gotten so far and it doesn't seem worth it.

Could always time travel to the day you got the game and advance quickly from there.

Particularly if you have a place to store your bells in the meantime.

This is what I am going to do on my alt town. - I never play it as I hate all the villagers except Bruce, and Bruce lives in my other town too. xP But I am going to wait until I get a good haul from the turnip market and use that money to upgrade alt town until it catches up to now.

I was in the same situation so I just reset it and sold turnips for awhile. I think the only thing I miss is buck :(

Alt town? Do you have 2 copies of the game? Or is the alt town on the same copy?

I have 2 copies. ~ I reason if I pay so much for a linear mario game I can complete in 15 hours, then the amount I play AC makes it worth the extra cost. - I've had a 3DS since launch and in a month NL has become my most played game by a long shot. xP Plus I got the physical (alt, main is digital) copy 2 days early - definitely worth it!

Well, I have decided on resetting my town and time travelling a day forward 'til I get all the way to the present.
