I feel like I have a 'dreamie' block

Back when I first joined TBT I learned about having 'dreamie' villagers and who was popular and I had my own dreamie list and everything. Well, having recently reset, I keep trying to make a new dreamie card but... nobody sticks out to me anymore. I go through the list a dozen times and I save pictures of the villagers I think are cute but I haven't been able to go "I HAVE to have him/her" in ages. It kinda makes me sad. Anyone else ever felt like this?

That's a shame, although I guess you can probably just talk to and hang out with your current villagers. I never had any particular dreamies when I first played, but grew to love some characters through interactions and such.

If you want to get new villagers but don't really have any particular dreamies in mind, I'd recommend adopting a random villager, maybe a species you've never had or just someone you've never really considered. The first villager I ever adopted from someone else, Eunice, was 100% an impulse, but now I love her so much.

I felt the same way! I like to look through an extensive list of the villagers, and pick my favorite species, moving onto personality, then the specific villager.

Thanks for the advice guys. I had a thought. I think I'm gonna hop dream addresses a few times and just hang out with villagers to see if anything clicks.

I'm the same now...but that's because I've had so many villagers pass through my town I no longer have dreamies.
I've got all the new amiibo figure villagers now to add to my town which has changed things a bit for me, also ordered the Sanrio cards to move some villagers in from those. Have you looked at the new cards? Won't be long before but they're released and people will be selling them on the trading plaza, maybe there's somebody new you would like?

You don't have to have dreamies! I never made a dreamie list but keep adopting villagers and then putting them up for adoption. My goal has always been to get all the villagers photos. And I love it. It's so great to have a new person every so often. Though I do get attached to them and it makes it so hard to say goodbye - but that's the same as life.
