I don't understand :/

For the last few days, I've been looking for the classroom set to try and make a school-themed house and now that a villager is leaving, I can put the house in the perfect spot. But for some reason, no one here seems to ever respond to threads asking for the set, whether it be mine or anyone else's.

Is there a reason? It's reorderable, right? I can't even get started on my house because I can't find this furniture anywhere and it's a little annoying. I'm willing to pay, but everyone keeps ignoring any posts.

The set is re-orderable so maybe not that many people have the full set. Maybe they have it but have missed your thread, not everyone spends their waking hours on the selling/trading areas and the boards can move very fast. Just be patient, if it's happening to others who are looking for the same set, it's clearly nothing personal. I understand that it's frustrating but just wait and plot your house and stuff until you get all the pieces you're looking for.

Some advice: advertise in the correct sections and then bump your thread regularly. There's a rule on how often you can bump threads (I think it's once every two hours or something) so follow that but bump it as regularly as you can if it keeps going into the second page or something. Add a line of text to your signature saying you're looking for it with a link to the thread, that may make it easier for people who normally don't check the selling and trading areas to see it and offer to help you. Make sure you're offering a reasonable price.

It also helps if you use the search tool to find people who are selling that set or who have all re-orderables or something. I've had better results finding items that way than just posting my own threads looking for them, because some people advertise the items they have and don't have the time to reply to every single request thread since their own is right there. Just beware of scammers, of course.

The classroom wall and floor are not orderable but the other things are. I have a full catalogue so I could order anything you need if you show me a list. However it's gone 5 PM here and I don't TT on my main town so you'd have to wait until tomorrow, and I'm GMT time zone.

Its a theme not a set so maybe thats why not as many people have it because its a bunch of different items that come together to create the classroom look.

Like I said, if others aren't getting any replies it's not just you. Did you read the rest of my post? Did you look for people who advertise all items or even individual pieces, for example? I understand the problem, because I've had a similar issue myself, but sometimes you just have to be patient and try to do what you can. There are so many factors that can make someone not reply to a thread looking for that set, and you saying that nobody would reply to this thread almost makes it sound like people here are trying to make your life more difficult.
