I know I'll probably never find a cheap copy, I've checked ebay, amazon, no matter where I look I can't find a cheap copy. I don't care about the box or the book, I was just hoping to find a copy as a gift for somebody. Got any ideas where I can look?

A gamestop, if you're lucky. You have an 1 x 10⁹⁹% of a chance of finding one. Since they are rare/worth a lot, you'll have a very slim chance of finding a good working cheap one.

You'd be really lucky to get it cheap, Earthbound is kind of rare, and you can't get it on VC, so I think this is one of those moments where using an emulator is completely justified. So, i'd just go with that.

Thanks guys, but in the end, I bought the soundtrack instead. I think they've already emulated it, but they've always wanted an actual copy. The sound track won't make it in time for christmas, so I'm giving it to him for his birthday.
