It might be just me but I really don't like most of the holidays in-game. Harvest Festival is one of the worst... soo much fishingggg! I also don't like The Festivale even tho it's really cute. Too much work not enough fun c: Could be that I'm just lazy lol
With that being said there's also a few I like, April Fools being my favorite & Toy day isn't so bad..
What's your favorite & least favorite in-game Holiday?
I wasn't a big fan of the Harvest Festival either, felt more of a chore then something fun. I think Toy Day is my favorite of them all it's really cute and it makes me happy to give the animals something they really want. I think Festivale is cute but it's also a grind/work just like the Harvest Festival. April fools day is really cute too and that's a lot of fun trying to help your animals out of being pranked.
I don't like the Festivale either, since you're basically grinding for the same stuff over and over again. (I actually like the old one, even though the animals are basically eating a turkey.... they were cannibalistic....wut?)
And when you do finish the festivale, you don't get a cute cutscene where all your villagers join in the feast. I would've liked that, then absolutely nothing.
It's now my 2nd year playing some of the holidays. Snow people, Bunny Days, Pave Festivale will be giving up a lot of repeats.
Instead of getting all the pieces from snowmama I got 5 closets, 6 dressers, 2 walls and one bed in one night. The next night she went back to giving me repeats of those items. So I don't see the point of making snow people if you've already won all the prizes.
Same goes for Bunny Days. I find Pave the most annoying one. It gets old every time you want to change in a feather.
I do like dancing and seeing my villagers happy.
Yeah!! That's a bad one too. I feel like the holidays are too similar to one another. You collect stuff and give it to the host and get something that doesn't seem as valuable as all the time you wasted doing it lol
I actually like Bunny Day, but it gets very repetitive with the dialouge. Like, omg pls just give me the furniture, i don't care about your poor life choices.
Honestly without the holidays, I'd probably have stopped playing a while ago. I look forward to events all the time and just being able to play something that doesn't come around often, even though it might be tedious, is still fun.
I really like Toy Day, Halloween and New Year. My least would have to be harvest I guess, just because I might not have the ingredient or I have to travel to the island to go find more stuff. It's kind of tiring.
Really? It's probably because you didn't stock up beforehand. I did, and it was a breeze, just trading items to give to Franklin. Festivale on the other hand, PAIN IN THE BUTT! I never spent more time looking for particular things than I EVER did for Pave, then the jerk decides to give me what I already had 20 of- literally, I'd have like 20 chairs, and he'd give me ANOTHER CHAIR??!! COME ON!!!!! Otherwise, I actually love the holidays. Now that I'm also participating in Japan only ones, I'm expanding beyond American culture into Japanese culture, and it's quite interesting. My last event to experience is Setsubun, and from the videos and pics I've already seen posted, I know I'm going to be playing this ALL DAY Feb 3!!
