I don't know what to do...

I accidentally put my cafe one space too far back and it looks terrible. I don't know whether or not I should delete my town, since I like everything else about it. It's just that every time I think about my cafe I lose all motivation to play. Any advice will be appreciated.

I'd just stick with it. Work around it. It will be fine and you'll become used to it. Trust me, I don't like much about my town but I keep it because I worked so hard on it, and decpite everything being in weird places it's starting to look okay c:

There is one thing you have to ask yourself. Can you get used to that caf?? If yes, keep your town. But if not, you will have to get new town. If you only think about that one mistake you did you will have to get rid of it.

Good point. It's really hard to get used to it, since it's right next to my house, but just one space behind. It just makes me feel so dumb every time I see it

I never really cared about perfection. All my houses and things are just everywhere where I just happened to click. I keep my town like a forest. It makes me more relaxed than perfect towns with paths.

I'm going for a forresty look, but with forest-type paths aha ^

But yeah, try to get used to it for a month or so, and if you still cannot bare it, reset c:

You can also try to add something special to it that makes you proud. Like finding lucky clovers on your own and placing them around your cafe. That way you can look at it and think "yeah I screwed up with placement but look at what I created!"

Things in real life aren't always that perfect - I made a similar mistake: I constructed the Police Station next to my Re-Tail, and it was off by one spacing. It annoyed me at first, but then I managed to work around it, and I trust you will be able to too! Treat it as a challenge to build and landscape around it.

That's why I don't really plot reset either, I like the challenge of having a random villager plop down on my paths (I keep my hybrids in safe places) and then seeing how I can rebuild and relandscape around their houses...

To me, that would be too insignifanct of an issue to reset my entire town. I can understand it bothers you right now, but like others have said, there's a good chance you can work around it and will get used to it soon.

I would say try to get used to it. You may grow to love its placement, even if it does look a little irregular.

the cafe is really not that important of a place you know, it's like it's just there to take space (so does the police station) and shouldn't affect your gameplay much. so I suggest you wait and give it time first~
