Will the full ORAS have saving like the demo, where the game automatically saves for you only at certain points in the game?

Seeing as how GF took out character customization, I won't be surprised if they also took out the ability to save anywhere anytime. sigh...

They had good reasons to take out character customization. I don't see any reasons for them to take out saving.
The demo also disabled trainer cards, the PokeNav, the Pokedex, etc. If they were going to take out saving the game because it wasn't in the demo they would take those out as well.

I definitely don't remember ever flying on Latios/Latias in the original Ruby for sure.

That's because it's a new feature in the game that they've added. I feel like that is a sample of what is to come in the game if anything.

Also because it's a demo, I don't think one should expect much but like the others said, a starter kit and it helps you get the sense of what the game's is going to be like. Of course, the full game will not be like that. I think if anything, there's going to be alot of more information presented and it'll also be able to help even new players ease into the game but this is for those who've played R/S if I'm not mistaken but I feel like it'll still be helpful somewhat in the full game than the demo itself to be honest.
