Yesterday I went down to the principal's office to ask him for a gender-neutral bathroom and he agreed to make it happen, this may change the whole school. Also I won't have to use the men's bathroom or changing room anymore, I'm just terrified to see what people think of me now that I made this happen. @-@

If he really makes it happen congrats. But yeah I agree it would probably take time and resources to do it.

I always felt sorry for people having to use the bathroom they didnt want towhat does age have to do with it. if i was that knowledgeable and brave at 12 I wouldn't have minded it one bit.
pretty skeptical that one 12 year old kid going tot he principals office and asking for a gender neutral bathroom getting an immediate approved answer like that, highly unlikely honestly. changing anything for schools usually requires a ton of meetings and a lot of bull****, but i'm glad you made an effort. i hope it actually happens.

I've heard there's a gender neutral toilet at my school but I've never noticed it because, lmao, I go to a mostly all female school, and I guess the boys prefer using the male toilets. I have been it though, I think? I mean there isn't a sign on the door that says whether it's male or female so idk, it doesn't bother me. If we had gender neutral toilets in public, though, I'm not sure if I'd like it so much. I guess I'd be uncomfortable, really, and I don't mean that in a nasty way... ): I guess, idk, I can't really say why...
Anyway congrats I guess? Although it seems a little naiive for your principal to just accept the idea, stuff like that takes a lot of time, planning, preparation, and... Money, lmao. xD Maybe he meant he'd take it into consideration??

Gender neutral bathrooms are awesome though, however my school doesn't have one. I'll see if the new potential unis I'm getting into have one, I'll prefer going to one which does though LOL. Wardrobe malfunctions are scary though, I wouldn't want a girl looking at my pee pee if accidentally the towel falls down while doing my own thing. I can totally imagine sucking in my tummy to look good and the above mentioned happening.
