What is a rainbo feather?

It's for the February 16th Festivale, when you need to catch 3 feathers of a certain colour. The rainbow feather is the rarest, and I believe you can use it in place of the colour you need. I'm playing in the UK, so I'm a few hours ahead and it's past 6am on the 16th for me.

I managed to catch one this morning and luckily had an inventory space left. I swear I can't find a yellow feather anywhere though.
Just 4 more pieces and I'm done with this Pave set!

How come you didn't just drop something on the ground? I heard the rainbow feathers are rare, but I don't think that's true. When I had Festivale last month, I caught about 5.

It didn't give me the option to drop something to make space for it and I thought it would. They probably aren't that rare after all. I was just shocked that I only had one for a fleeting moment and my character let it go.

Well, that stinks. Usually you have the option to exchange or drop something. I wonder why they don't allow it with feathers?

I've caught about 7 so far xD I accidentally gave one to Pave though -.- Also, I've almost gotten the whole set twice, APART from the damn closet! I'm so frustrated!

Rarely your mayor will let go of things when they catch them when their pockets are full. Ik it sucks!

I ended up closing the game for awhile because I couldn't get 2 of the set after playing for a long time. When I opened it again to try, the first 2 items Pave gave me were the missing ones. Phew, now I am done. I ended up with 5 or 6 rainbow feathers. I saved some and gave some to Pave. I was hoping Pave would give me the missing pieces with a rainbow feather but NO. lol

I don't know why you didn't get the option to swap! Is that only with rainbow feathers or can it happen at any time?
