I can't think of a flag design!

I really want a nice flag to go with my town, but the designs I make are just never good enough. I don't really want to get a flag design from a QR code, as I would like it to be unique.

Here are some questions for you. Your answers might help me
1: What does your flag look like?
2: Why did you decide on that particular design?
3: Do you have any ideas for a flag I could use?(My town is called Liontown, so it should preferably be lion-related in some way.)

My town flag is a picture of Hamtaro. Mainly because I like hamsters, they were a new villager type, and Hamlet was one of my starting villagers. That flag was based on a QR design but I changed the background myself.

In my second town, because I have Flurry, my flag is a picture of Bijou. I couldn't find a QR code to help so I designed it all myself that time.

I'm trying to think of things you could use because you have chosen lions as a theme. I'm sure you have already thought of putting a lion face on it, or maybe a pawprint. I'm sure other people will suggest better ideas!

I have an idea for a flag design for you that is lion-themed!

You could use the national banner of the Netherlands for inspiration. It depicts two lions. Here's a picture:
You could have two lions or just one on your flag.
I also have a pic of just the one:


If you don't know how to design it yourself, you could also go the sub-thread Able's Sisters of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. There's are always friendly people there who would probably be willing to help you out.

I'm not so creative, but maybe something like a mane with a paw inside it?

My town flag has my town name (which is Petopia) and a paw print on it.

For your flag, maybe a simple cute lion drawing with its mane shaped like a heart?
Something like this:

Add a small crown if you like to make it look like a cute lion king.

3: Perhaps a lion or two lions at the sides of your own native fruit? c: Or maybe a lion's face? Or a pawprint? Or you could like do a silhouette of a lion's profile where it's roaring so all its teeth are showing!

My town's name is named after the headquarters of the Inquisition in Dragon Age: Inquisition--Skyhold; it's not original or creative of me--though I am happy how it turned out, excluding my landscaping and planning of the PWPs. Anyways, I thought it'd be appropriate to use their heraldry as my town flag.

This has been Rosewood's flag for quite some time now, though I'm still not 100% satisfied with the background yet. I like the white and purple, but it's blah compared to the foreground. I made the rose myself, using a cross-stitch pattern I found online. c:
