I don't live in a big city and I guess people just don't carry their consoles around here. :( I'm jealous. I want to be able to get all those great things that others talk about. *sigh*

I have the same problem. I live out in the country, literally between three cow fields :C

I know there used to be like, a weekly showcase house that everyone would get, but I have never, ever had a house show up in my showcase.

It's really frustrating :(

Yeah, I'm in the country too. A lot of old, retired people live around here. I think they don't play video games. LOL

IKR. I'm in a pretty small town and I am never going to get the streetpass badge.
every time I go to the grocery store I always get a streetpass from the same person. pretty sure someone who works there plays!

if you're ever by a McDonalds, they have the streetpass hotspot things where you can get streetpasses from the last 4 people who've been there. that's been helpful.

Best Buy and a few other places have things like that, too. You can find locations here.

I live in an urban hub and still don't get a lot of streetpasses. Maybe every two weeks if I'm lucky, and I bring my 3DS everywhere.

Lol opposite for me. All my siblings and friends have a 3ds and I see them so often. If you ever need any of the Streetpassing items in ACNL, PM me! :)

you can get lots of tags if you bring your 3DS to school!

Well, I'm in my 30s so I won't be going to any schools... LOL

That's good to know. We do have a Best Buy in town. Only problem is it's not that great and I hardly ever see any people there. Would it still work if I'm the only one in the store with a 3DS?

One more thing: we have several McDonald's in town, but I haven't been inside of a McDonald's in years. The food made me so sick once that I can't even stand the smell. Too bad it can't be Burger King or Chick-Fil-A or something. I can deal with other fast food restaurants.

I've only ever done it during their Streetpass Weekends, but during those you didn't need to have anyone else actually in the store with a 3DS, you could connect with others over the WiFi there. There is a Streetpass Holiday going on now until Jan 4th!

A lot of people in the USA don't get many StreetPasses. The fastest (albeit possibly inconvenient) way to get them is to go to conventions. People in Japan though, get StreetPasses much more frequently, according to someone at Nintendo [citation needed].

My boyfriend's cousin just got back from teaching in Japan for two years. I asked him about streetpassing, and he said he could get hundreds a day if he kept clearing it out. He got his ACNL streetpass badges in a few days, and without even carrying his 3DS around.
