I Can't Get Gracie To Show Up.

I've been playing this game for several years and just got back into it after the switch announcement. I want to upgrade my shop but Gracie never shows up! I've Been with t.i.y for like 3 years and I know ive spent more than enough to unlock it. All I need to do is the fashion tests but Graice won't show up! Help!

I had similar problems with Gracie doing this in my town. I think the only thing you can really do is check your Plaza every day. Even if you have no desire to play, just take a few minutes to check anyway. She should show up eventually, though can be a fairly rare occurrence. Good luck!

That's weird. I usually never have a problem getting her to show up once I've reached the amount required to unlock her. Have you updated your game?

She's just a very random NPC. She doesn't have a schedule for showing up so always just check everyday. You probably keep missing her if you aren't playing in your town daily. She doesnt even have to show up for the week so you can go weeks without seeing her

Pretty sure I read somewhere that Gracie appears after you spend a certain amount at your shop.

I wonder if they are going to do gracie in the switch. If they will give her a schedule or change how she is or give her her own store with more items.

Upgrade your convenience store. There is a requirement you must meet in order for Gracie to visit your town: Your convenience store must be at the third upgrade, the Home Center.

To get the Home Center (T.I.Y), you need to have spent 50,000 bells in the shop and waited 21 days since you got the Super T&T, the second upgrade. Once you have T.I.Y, Gracie will be able to visit.

Gracie’s visits are, however, rare, so you may find yourself waiting a long time before you see her. To make sure you don’t miss her, play every day and check the area around the town square thoroughly!

What can be helpful is this: If you have “Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer,” Lottie’s merchandise—which includes gigantic-sized furniture—will speed it along more. Those items are, like, 6,000 and 7,000 and 8,000 bells. I tend to buy 100,000 bells’ worth just to be sure.

I have the same problem. I've met all the requirements but I guess she's just very rare for my current town

I would perhaps buy a few extra things to make sure you definitely did spend the right amount?
After I spent some extra cash, I had Gracie show up a a few times pretty quickly, so I think I unlocked the last shop upgrade in about a month, maybe two. I do play everyday though, so I checked daily to make sure I didn't miss her.

Only items with a sold out sign counts toward the total. Paper and wrapping paper will not count towards your total.
Gracie will start appearing after you spend 75,000. The last store opens after you pass 4 checks and spend 100,000.

With the update Gracie checks have been added to the Town Initiatives. Check your initiatives for the day and it will be listed if Gracie is in town. If you have the initiative and Gracie is missing from the event plaza go inside a building and check the plaza again.
Still missing save/quit and check the plaza again.
Before the update the police station said Gracie was in town but Gracie wasn't in the event plaza. Save/quit and played in the evening and Gracie was there. Not sure why Gracie was missing in the morning.

i had a similar problem. all i did was time travel individual days and check my plaza. then i got all them finished in 30 days (game time).
