I can't get Club LOL?

I have gotten Nookling Junction to upgrade to T&T Mart and I have the Public Works Project unlocked? I've gotten 6 signatures to open it and I gave it back to Dr.Shrunk and he said it would be open soon and everything. I was really busy with school work so I didn't play AC for about 3 weeks and Club LOL isn't open? I tried going into Public Works Project to see if it was there but its not? Does anybody know how to help me out?

Honestly, it just takes time! Club LOL takes a while to open! Not 3 weeks... It took me like 2 weeks, but maybe since you haven't been playing it's been affecting that, which shouldn't affect it but who knows. Sorry if I wasn't any help.. good luck!

That could be your problem. The time might have moved 3 weeks but the game only counts the days you logged your character. I've gathered the signatures 3-4 days ago myself and I'm also still waiting but I played every day. The guides on the internet all tell different things but I'd like to believe that it can take up to 8 days (max) before the club opens.

If you don't have time to play try to find 5 minutes to log your mayor and than save and log out again. It'll count as a day. Keep in mind that villagers might move and flowers could wilt though.
