Those of you who know me have often heard me bemoan the fact that I have seven active towns and NO WOODEN BRIDGE! Seven towns, four years of playing, always keeping only two stupid bridges, but no wooden bridge. IN. ANY. TOWN. Four years...

A few days ago, I started my eighth town, Tea Cozy. Day four of playing, Hamphrey pings for a public works project and I KNOW it is going to be the Wind Turbine. Every cranky in every town wants the bloody wind turbine.

IT'S THE FREAKING WOODEN BRIDGE!! I nearly fell over! I woke my daughter up crying and she's all, "What's wrong?!" I show her the ds screen and we proceed to do the biggest high five, fist bump in HERstory!

I cried. It was so embarrassing, but I actually cried, lol. This is officially my final public works project item. The one I have longed for, for YEARS!

The irony is I was already planning the fairy tale bridge because I knew it would be suggested first because it ALWAYS is in my towns. The fairy tale bridge can now officially go suck an egg.

Anyhow, I HAD to share this story because I know many of you are also longing for you dream public works project. Don't give up! It is coming your way. It may take four years, but it is coming your way!

The wooden bridge is different from the suspension bridge, yes. It is this beautiful brown planked wood with black posts. Amazing!

Checked 'em all. Nary a bridge of any kind. However, I did notice that every time I came through the door, Isabelle's eyes were closed. Well, when you are on duty and on your feet 24/7, you grab some sleep whenever you can.

Congrats! The wooden bridge is my favorite bridge. I know I am missing a bunch of pwps, but my villagers never seem to suggest any. Maybe because I have too many jocks and crankies. I might need more different personalities.
