Ok so today I found that Rooney was up for adoption and I wanted him in second town, the person who put him up for adoption asked when I could pick him up I said today then I waited for a reply...TWO HOURS LATER and no reply, they hadn't even gone offline, there profile said they bumming around the retail forum and during those two hours I left messages on their profile and sent 2 pms, ALL OF WHICH GOT NO REPLY! They just recently went offline and I feel as if I was just trolled.

I hate when this happens, you have no idea. Especially when it comes to villagers, I have no patience at all. Unless they tell me there's a delay for a reason, I don't think it's right for them to not acknowledge my request after agreeing to do so.

It can't be helped. The other person could be busy and he/she was writing to you at work. My advise is to move on. There might be more of your dreamies for adoption later.

If they don't reply fully, you're allowed to give them a negative Wi-Fi rating for not fulfilling their end of the trade. (This still counts as a trade)

But they weren't busy they were looking around the Retail forum the entire time and didn't even say they needed to delay the adoption.

They might have poofed out, sometimes I'm still logged in when I'm actually not on the forums so she/he might have had to do something so they didn't log out but went to do something else anyways.

Not to take sides, because I understand how frustrating it is to be waiting and not hear anything trust me I do... But I as well leave the computer on when I go so it seems like I'm logged in when I'm actually washing dishes or something. It's a bad habit I have to break.

Well I finally got a reply back and apparently they were away doing something else and now there mad at me, at this point I would feel AWFUL, if weren't for the fact that they didn't go offline until an hour AFTER I had made my reply, they left no message saying they had something to do AND were active on the retail forum the entire time before going offline!

I agree with Houndoomed that you should just leave them a Wi-Fi rating. 3 hours is unbelievable... They should have left you a message befor hand

Agreed with Shiro, the Wi-Fi feedback is to review the connection stability of the encounter, and the quality. If no such trade took place, there is nothing to leave a review for and it could result in a report for misusing the rating system. Since the trade didn't go through and there are other people cycling Rooney, I would just avoid doing trades with the person in the future.
